World Heart Failure Day

Heart Failure Awareness Day aims to promote awareness to the risk factors, signs, symptoms, and treatment of heart failure (HF).

HF is a progressive condition in which the heart loses its ability to pump enough blood to supply the body's needs.

The awareness session this year will be held at Pharos University, Alexandria for students and staff members followed by a CPR workshop for a few participants

Teenagers are some of the best rescuers we have because of their willingness to help and general sense of fearlessness.

The course will be presented by professionals and will be certified.

The world heart day will held on 20th February at Pharos University Alexandria.

World Hypertension Day

Many people who suffer from hypertension are not aware that they have it as there can be no symptoms, often people only find out after suffering a heart attack or stroke.

While trends have recently shown the incidence of cardiovascular disease (including heart attack and stroke) declining in recent years, it is still the main cause of death amongst men and the second highest cause of death in women.

This year World Hypertension Day will take place at Alexandria on 24th May 2024.

Jointly with the CVREP Foundation, Expand created an awareness event to increase the knowledge about hypertension diseases including:

  • Free Checkups for all attendees
  • Partnership with Health Insurance or Egypt healthcare authority
  • Trendy topics including complications related to other specialties (Diabetes- Nephrology- Nutrition)

CardioAlex Awareness Day

CardioAlex has over the years aimed to share knowledge and awareness with the public, educating them about cardiac diseases, their symptoms, prevention, and treatments.

Each year, we think of different and creative ideas to reach the target audience and engage them in physical activities like walkathons, marathons, and biking.Following CardioAlex main conference, we’ve created an awareness day right after the conference, to raise the awareness about heart diseases by creating a public session for more than 150 participant.

Last year was a new era as we implemented digital transformation on our awareness day Also, a new initiative was given to the kids, educating them about the heart, its importance in our lives, and how to live a healthy lifestyle.

CardioAlex museum was a significant success with
hologram images of heart for more than 260 attendees and heart camp for kids’ medical fun activities.

Wait for our creative ideas on 16 June 2024 at bibliotheca of Alexandria that will be more exciting and engaging for the public and patients.

World Heart Day

World Heart Day is celebrated every year on 29th September.
2024 will be the 2nd edition of the World Heart “Meet & Share” Public Forum which will take place in Cairo, Marriott Zamalek Hotel on 27th September 2024.

The forum will be a platform for high-level discussions on the prevention, treatment, and management of cardiovascular disease in Egypt centered around the universal theme of cardiovascular health for everyone.
Also, we will hold a unique awareness session for the public using the “Inflatable Heart Exhibition” tour, which provides a highly interactive educational experience that increases people's awareness of the top cause of heart disease

CPR Workshops

CPR workshops for high school students and teachers at Alexandria.
It is claimed that teenagers are some of the best rescuers because of their willingness to help and general sense of fearlessness. By offering CPR training for teachers and students it will increase their life saving skill.

Awareness Using “Inflatable Heart Tour“

The MEGA Heart provides a highly interactive educational experience that increases people's awareness of America's top cause of death: heart disease. Heart disease causes more than 600,000 deaths each year.
Visitors can step inside the human heart, learn about cardiovascular functions, observe examples of various types of heart disease, and see displays of some of the latest medical treatments for heart problems.
